Hudson is an exceptional songwriter, and it shows in how he teaches — his focus is songwriting and performing on acoustic guitar, for the student who wants to write their own songs rather than only cover them. He's especially good with kids, and his students tend to progress faster than anyone expects. He also coaches bands at the studio, and plays in a duo around town. He meets students where their taste already is — the riff or the artist that got them excited — and builds real skill from there.
