Anthony Cammarota

Anthony is a guitarist, composer, and educator whose work bridges performance, composition, and technology. He came up with an eclectic ear — jazz, rock, pop, blues and plenty besides — and more than two decades of professional experience behind him, touring internationally both with his own original music and as a sideman for other artists and bands. He chaired the guitar department at the True School of Music in Mumbai and taught as adjunct faculty at the University of Central Missouri, and he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He holds an M.A. from the University of Central Missouri and a B.Mus. from Cornish College of the Arts, and is an alumnus of the Orange County High School of the Arts. He teaches Detar students online, and he is the teacher for the student who doesn’t want to be boxed into one genre.
