Alex is a classical pianist who took the gold medal at the Pacific Northwest's young-musician competition, and he studied at Thomas Aquinas College. He teaches classical piano, bass, and drums, and coaches several of our student bands — so he's often the one who takes a student from a first lesson all the way to a first stage. Off the clock he plays in Alleyway, one of the bands you'll actually catch around town. He's grounded in classical technique but fluent in whatever a student really wants to play.
